Nope. Our lids are cut to sit perfectly on the tank, staying in place without any additional parts.
Maintenance
How do I clean my Reef Guard lid?
Cleaning is simple. Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm water. For tougher salt creep, you can use a reef-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives to preserve the brushed finish.
Will the stainless steel rust over time?
No. We use 316 marine-grade stainless steel specifically for its rust-resistant properties in saltwater environments. With regular maintenance, you lid will last for years without corrosion.
Do I need to polish or treat the lid over time?
No polishing is needed. A simple wipe-down routine will keep it looking great. Stainless steel is incredibly low maintenance.

Customisation Options

Yes! You can specify cutouts for feeding, weirs, lights, and more when you place a custom order. We’ll need to know the measurements and placement of your lights but we’ll confirm your requirements before production to ensure the perfect fit.
Customisations must be included at the time of order since each custom lid is precision-cut.
